27 citizens killed, 30 injured in a fuel tank explosion in al-Qamishli

Hasaka, SANA_ Twenty seven citizens were killed when a fuel tank blew up due to fire erputed in a neighboring park in Qamishli city at Hasaka province on Sunday.

Source at Police Command told SANA that a fire broke out in dry plants had spread out to a fuel tank in Maysalon Dispensary in al-Qamishli city, causing the explosion of the tank.

The explosion resulting in the death of twenty seven citizens and massive material damage in the dispensary, the source added.

A medical source at al-Qamishli National Hospital confirmed that the hospital received around thirty injured citizens including children, who were suffering of varying burns.
