Damascus, SANA-President Bashar al-Assad on Monday received a cable of condolence from his majesty Haitham bin Tarik, Sultan of Oman who expressed his deepest condolence and sympathy to President al-Assad and the Syrian people over victims of the earthquake that hit Syria today.
President al-Assad also received a similar cable from President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune who affirmed that Algeria, as government and people, stands by the Syrian government during these hard circumstances, adding that his country is ready to help ease the impacts of this painful incident.
Meanwhile, King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain affirmed that Bahrain, as government and people, expresses full solidarity with Syria, as people and government, to overcome this natural disaster.
King of Jordan, Abdallah II, also sent a cable of condolence to President al-Assad, showing readiness to offer aid to families of the victims.
President of China, Xi Jinping, also sent a cable of condolence to President al-Assad in which he expressed deepest condolences to families of the victims, saying that he is confident that Syria, as leadership and people, is able to pass the repercussions of the catastrophe as soon as possible.
President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, also offered his condolence in a similar cable, affirming willingness to provide the needed aid.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, sent a cable of condolence too to President al-Assad, expressing support to families of the victims and hoping quick recovery for the wounded.
