President al-Assad considered that the Social Solidarity Fund and Development is still an idea on trial liable to development and growth, especially when this experience allows to form a clearer vision to precisely define what we want from this fund and what its goal is, pointing out that ideas are always present, but organization and prioritization is what makes it more realistic.
President al-Assad stressed that small and medium enterprises constitute the basic base for the economy.
An extensive dialogue took place between President al-Assad and the attendees, during which President al-Assad listened to the obstacles and challenges facing Syrian youth in general, which impede their production and their ability to work and complete their educational attainment, and in many cases push them to migrate abroad.
President al-Assad also listened to the attendees’ suggestions and ideas related to the living, economic and social conditions in the country.
President al-Assad stressed that the main reason for his attendance today in this conference is based on the importance of dialogue and its effectiveness in finding solutions to obstacles and challenges given that dialogue is the only thing that makes intellectual work easy and applicable.
It is noteworthy that the Social Solidarity Fund and Development was established in August 2021 and aims primarily to enhance the capabilities of individuals, especially young people, to initiate their projects and provide the appropriate environment for their practical ideas on the ground.
The Fund has succeeded up to date in launching dozens of individual and collective production projects in different regions of the Syrian geography.
