Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to drop to become from 4 to 6 degrees below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by a wet and cold polar air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
The skies will be partly cloudy in general with a little shower chance in several regions, especially over the central, southern and southeastern regions, according to the Meteorology Department.
Snow is expected in the regions with altitude above 1000, and the weather will be cold at night and frost is expected in most regions.
The wind will be northerly to northwesterly with a moderate speed, while the sea waves will be medium to high in amplitude.
