Chinese museum holds exhibition for Syrian artist Walid Ali

Beijing, SANA – The Jinling Art Museum in the city of Nanjing, China, held an exhibition titled “A Step on the Silk Road” featuring the works of Syrian artist Walid Ali.

This exhibit is the first of its kind for a Syrian artist in Nanjing, and it features over 100 paintings that depict life in Syria, Damascus, and the Syrian countryside, as well as nature scenes from China.

Museum officials awarded Ali a certificate of appreciation, and added one of his paintings to the museum’s collection.
