Amman, SANA-Syria’s junior football team beat its Lebanese counterpart 1-0 in its first match within West Asia cup held in al-Zarka’a city of Jordan.

Player Anys Qasem scored for Syria in the 79^th minute of the game.

The Syrian team leads group A, followed by Bahrain and Lebanon with 0 points.

It will meet Bahrain next Wednesday.
