Syrian Automobile Club concludes season by crowning winners of speed and drift championships

Damascus Countryside, SANA – The Syrian Automobile Club concluded its 2018 season by crowning the winners of the 13th Speed Championship and the 3rd Drift Championship at the Club’s track in Ma’aret Sednaya, Damascus Countryside.

In the Speed Championship’s special production category Ahmad Mahayni came in first with 259 points, followed by Aysar Abu Hamdan with 235 points, and Mohammad Shafiq al-Hajjar with 229 points, while in the commercial production category Iyad Afghani came in first with 262 points, followed by al-Mughira Qabbani with 250 points, and Zaher Dahkoul with 231.

Dahkoul also came in first in the front-wheel drive and 1600cc categories.

In the frift championship, Ahmad Kreizan came in first with 261 points, followed by Mohammad Kreizan with 213 points, Mohammad al-Fawwal with 199 points, Ahmad Hamsho with 181 points, and Bassel al-Sabe’a with 164 points.
